The KOP AM20 series gate valve allows and closes every operation of the wellhead, Christmas tree system, and choke and kill manifold-from drilling and completion to pumping and production. The KOP AM20 series provides unprecedented safety by ensuring a hermetic seal from pressures as high as 10 000 psi to as low as 50 psi. The advanced coating prevents high wear, corrosion resistance and low friction coefficient, thereby reducing operating torque.
The KOP AM20 series also meets strict requirements, passing API 6A Annex PR2F, API 6FA fire test, API 6AV1 mortar test, extended low air pressure retention test, endurance cycle test and sea water corrosion test. The driven KOP AM20 series surface safety valve complies with Annex F PR2F, API 6FA and API 6AV1 Class II.
The KOP AM20 series adopts a simplified design, which is not only smaller and lighter to save more costs, but also provides parts interchangeability to simplify inventory requirements. The KOP AM20 series can withstand harsh conditions of more than 600 endurance cycles-representing 60 years of service life-without the need to inject grease. Compared with other gate valves on the market, the KOP AM20 gate valve extends the maintenance cycle by 50%. This will reduce valve maintenance costs by at least 50%.
